Research Interests

Longzhao (Long) was a Master of Engineering candidate for Duke-KTH THRUST program. Long worked on the Wing Flutter/LCO and Forced Response Interaction project.  His work included setting up the experiment environment and quantifying the structual / fluid coupling effects.

Long is also leading a reverse engineering project of modern fighter wings. The research focus is the review / redesign process based on the aeroelastic service performance. He is also working on a curriculum project on material science related to CMOS (Complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor).  Long researched on the Annular aircraft engine gas turbine combustor cold re-ignition simulation for his BSc project. He is also pursuing a distant graduate diploma degree in Finance and Corporate valuation from London School of Economics.
