Master's Student
Julia is a Department of Defense SMART Scholar who will work for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division upon graduation from Duke. Julia originally graduated with a Bachelor's of Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware with Honors where she conducted both coastal engineering and aerospace engineering research.
Currently, Julia is a Master's Student in Mechanical Engineering working with Dr. Earl Dowell to experimentally explore elastic surface roughness effects for improved aerodynamic performance.
